“Drink in their [the Chachamim] words with thirst” (Pirkei Avot, 1:4)

“According to the Chasid Yaavetz, one has to be meticulous in processing the words of his teachers of Torah until every word that they say settles in one’s sechel and becomes a natural part of the way one thinks.

In the same way you drink and you want it to settle in your stomach. So here too,  drink with thirst, [their words], until their words actually become part of the way you apply their words to situations as a natural part of your sechel or intellect. “ ( Explanation of the words of the Chasid Yaavetz  shared by Harav Simcha Weinberg, n’’y)

      Kavanah for Aleinu:

      וְיָדַעְתָּ֣ הַיּ֗וֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֮ אֶל־לְבָבֶךָ֒

When I say these words in Aleinu, I ask  Hashem to  grant me the awareness and ability to absorb the words of Hamilamed Torah L’amo Yisroel so meticulously until it settles in my heart.  I want it settled in my heart so that the words of Torah become part of me and  guide my thinking and all my actions so that I am constantly aware of Hashem and doing His Will.
