Today is the eighth day of the omer, חסד שבגבורה. Let us think of all the times in our lives when seemingly unpleasant things happened, but then turned out in the end to be great blessings to us. And let us, when we exhibit gevurah, do it for the sake of chesed.
And let us return to this thought not just today, but also any day that we say Hallel, particularly כי גבר עלינו חסדו.
